pro bono services for students

Are you an undergraduate or graduate student looking for a sounding board or advice about something you’re working on? Do you want someone to listen to your food studies interests, research project plans, or career aspirations?

While your first advisor should be your professor, supervisor, or program director, it can also be useful to complement their knowledge with outsider perspectives and input. And while I certainly don’t know everything about food studies, I have a pretty broad background and I’m happy to help if I can. If you’re interested, do the following:

FIRST: Check with your professor, supervisor, or program director about whether or not they think it would be a good idea to get in touch with me.

SECOND: Fill out this contact form, telling me about yourself and what you want to talk about.

THIRD: I’ll get back to you about finding a time to talk, based on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more about my own background, see davidszanto.com or download my CV.

You have spoken with your supervisor/professor about contacting me. *
